In order to do this, Dr Raquel Valentim uses a naturally occurring and biodegradable substance, called Hyaluronic Acid (HA). Our body naturally produces HA, however as we age it's production decreases, which causes our lips to loose volume.
With lip enhancement techniques it is possible to improve your lip definition and volume, and give you a new natural plump look.
When will I see the results?
Although the results will be visible immediately, it is important to allow 28 days for any resilient swelling to fully settle.
Depending on the results you wish to achieve, more than once session might be necessary.
Is it painful?
Dr Raquel Valentim uses products that already have a local anesthetic. This allows for a comfortable and relaxing experience as your are having your lips treated.
Most clients describe this as a comfortable and relaxing experience.
Is is also common to use some numbing cream, and it is possible to provide full numbness with local anesthetic.
How long does it last?
The lip filler lasts approximately 6-9 months.
